Presentation Summary: This training session provides a comprehensive look at innovative strategies employed by a rural Single County Authority (SCA) to enhance behavioral health care delivery and recovery outcomes. Participants will gain insight into a multi-faceted approach that integrates 24/7 warmline services in the county crisis program, hospital-based warm handoffs, robust case management, and a broad spectrum of recovery support services tailored to rural needs.

At the completion of this activity, participants will:

Describe how a rural Single County Authority (SCA) delivers a 24/7 warmline in partnership with a crisis program and implements a hospital-based warm handoff model.
Recall the client experience throughout the treatment process, with a focus on the role of case management.
Identify and describe the recovery support services available through a rural SCA, including housing, harm reduction, and recovery centers.
