Mario Miccoli is Full Professor of Psychometrics at Mercatorum University in Rome since 2024. In the same year, he is Honorary President and member of the Board of Directors of EUROPAD (European Opiate Addiction Treatment Association), and Scientific Director of the Italian Division of the World Association on Dual Disorders (WADD). Since 2022, he is Co-Director of the Addiction Research Methods Institute (ARMI), research center of the World Federation for the Treatment of Opioid Dependence (WFTOD). Since 2020, he is Statistical Editor for the journal Heroin Addiction and Related Clinical Problems. From 2019 to 2024, he was Associate Professor of Medical Statistics at the University of Pisa. Professor Mario Miccoli is author and co-author of 179 scientific publications indexed in Scopus and Web of Science, he has an H-Index of 34 (his publications shows over 4.000 citations), and he has been an invited speaker at several international conferences in the field of addiction.
