In 2003, Jennifer Stukey, Chief Operating Officer began her work in the field of opioid use disorder (OUD) treatment as a dispensing nurse at Narcotic Drug Treatment Center, Inc. an Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) in Anchorage, Alaska. Over the years, she advanced through several roles within the organization, ultimately becoming Chief Operating Officer. In this leadership role, she oversees operations, licensing, compliance, and performance systems critical to the delivery of high-quality care. Jennifer’s dedication to the field of addiction medicine extends far beyond her organization. She spent 12 years as a CARF surveyor, contributing to national standards for quality improvement. She has also plays a key role in establishing and supporting OTPs throughout Alaska, helping to expand access to lifesaving treatment in underserved communities. Jennifer Stukey’s career reflects a deep commitment to compassionate care, systemic improvement, and expanding access to treatment for individuals and families impacted by addiction.
