Nasir Naqvi, MD, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at Columbia University Department of Psychiatry, in the Division on Substance Use Disorders. Dr. Naqvi's research focuses on translational studies of neural mechanisms of behavior change in treatments for SUD. In addition, Dr. Naqvi is the Program Director for the Addiction Psychiatry fellowship at Columbia, and also Director of the Columbia Gambling Disorder Clinic. Dr. Naqvi also serves as an attending psychiatrist at the NY State Psychiatric Institute and at NYP-Columbia, in both public psychiatry and hospital-based clinics, serving patients with OUD, AUD and other SUD.
