Christine K. Scalise, LPC, LCADC, DRCC, has over 30 years of experience in behavioral health and serves as Manager of the Special Initiatives, Women and Families Unit in the Office of Treatment and Recovery Supports at New Jersey’s Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services. She has led statewide efforts in substance use treatment reform, maternal-child health initiatives, and integrated services for pregnant and parenting families affected by opioid use and other substances. A passionate advocate for gender-specific care, Christine collaborates across state and community systems to improve services for women and families. She serves as New Jersey’s Women’s Services Network (WSN) treatment coordinator and currently serves as President of the WSNs, for the National Association of State Alcohol and Drug Agency Directors (NASADAD). She brings extensive leadership in service development, policy and practice advancement. Christine holds a Master's Degree in Counseling, is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor and Disaster Response Crisis Counselor.
