After obtaining my degree in general psychiatry, I specialized further in addiction medicine. Then, I continued my experience in Geneva University Hospitals. Within the Geneva team, I gained experience in managing various opioid substitution medications (SROM, methadone, buprenorphine, and diacetylmorphine). For the past four years, I have been back at the University Hospital of Besançon, where I have contributed to the opening of a day hospital and the reorganization of the Addiction Care Liaison Team (ELSA). As head of ELSA at the Besançon University Hospital, I developed links with the various hospital departments and the pain assessment and treatment center to facilitate the identification and care of people with prescribed opioid use disorder.
