Presentation Summary: This workshop will examine a long-held belief in our industry about patients having to want to change, and the professionals' ability to enhance that motivation. Specifically, we will examine assumptions and processes to making change, the stages of change and transitional objectives to meet to move forward, and effectively identifying the Stage of Change to select and apply Evidence Based Practices & techniques.
